All Maine Corporations and LLCs Must File: 

• Articles of Incorporation
  File your Articles of Incorporation or Certificate of Formation with the Maine Secretary of State and pay the filing fee. The cost to form a Maine corporation or Maine LLC is $145.
• Beneficial Ownership Information Report
  Nearly all businesses formed by filing with the state of Maine must file a federal Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) Report with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) following business formation. • Annual Report
