South Carolina corporations and LLCs are formed by filing the Articles of Incorporation or Articles of Organization with the South Carolina Secretary of State. It costs $110 to form a South Carolina corporation or South Carolina LLC.
- Initial Report
SC corporations must include an initial annual report with the Articles of Incorporation. There is an additional $25 initial report fee due at the time of incorporation.
- Beneficial Ownership Information Report
Nearly all businesses formed by filing with the state of South Carolina must file a federal Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) Report with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) following business formation. - Annual Report
